We were so into the concert that we didn't have time to take many pictures! Kidding! No pictures, but we do have videos. This was our first time at Jingle Ball, and it was super fun! We went with Kevin's friend David, and his friend. Hmm...everyone was pretty good, but the artists definitely got better throughout the concert. We were both super sad that Shawn mendes couldn't make it due to a cold. Luckily, we saw him at T. Swift's concert, and on his tour, so we weren't too devastated. We loved Alessia Cara, Charlie Puth, and the Chainsmokers. Oh my dearness! Chainsmokers were soo amazing. I would hands down go to their concert.

Kevin's surprise birthday dinner! Biggg thanks to everyone who showed up! It was difficult planning without him knowing, but I had help from his bffs John and Lam. Together, we were able to gather everyone, and Kevin didn't even find out until we walked into Gen! Mission success! Oh also, this was my first time I met his friends Rayman and Kathy! It was a great night with awesome food and even better company! Happy bday to this klutzy cutie!
These are terrible pictures, but our seats were actually pretty good. We had a nice view because thank goodness the people in front were shorter than us (they were teenagers).
PACE gallery! I've been bugging Kevin to take me here ever since my instagram feed was overloaded pictures of this place. This was a different type of exhibit because all the artwork had a tech component to it, but I expected it to be a lot bigger. My favorite part was the kid's gallery where we got to decorate different vehicles and sea creatures. There were plenty of fishies in the (interactive) sea, but Kevin's fish was the only one for me! Kevin really liked the art with various panels that told an ancient story (typical Kevin hehe). One of the funniest parts was when we went into the room with birds that flew and there was dramatic music in the background. He was basically trying to narrate the whole scene in a weird british accent haha Along the way we tried to emulate those pictures we saw on instagram, but it didn't turn out quite as planned... It was so difficult to take nice pictures! The lighting was not the greatest :(
Our day adventure starts in Japantown! This is the annual Cherry Blossom festival, and probably as close to Japan as we can get as of now haha Today was a good day becasue it was actually sunny and kind of warm in SF! There were a lot of people at the festival (as expected), and the food stalls were crazy crowded, so we decided to just eat at a nearby Thai restaurant instead (it was pretty yummy). After, we stopped by this highly rated mochi place on yelp (I forgot what it was called), and judging from Kevin's expression I think we all know how he liked it :) Part 2: Off to the Embarcadero! As you can see from above we love to take photos, but we still need some work manipulating those angles to our advantages. We were just strolling down this area trying to look cute (so I thought), when Kevin would randomly burst out into song trying to embarrass me -_-. We were about to get oysters, but the wait was too long. Also, I finally got to see this arrow up close. With this weather and view we couldn't help but have a mini photo session while rocking our DW watches that we got for each other's birthdays. If that's not basic I don't know what is... Last stop of the day: WICKED!!! By far the best Broadway show we've seen. Who am I kidding pretending to be a Broadway show enthusiast haha We've only seen 3 shows, but highly recommend wicked! Everything was on point from the costumes to the singing. We went to see this with Wayland and Amelia!
Fun time with friends! This was our first comic con together! Loved seeing the different costumes people were in. Can you guess who Kevin and I were? There were cool R2D2s there, Stan Lee exhibit, Game room (with game consoles from the oldest to the most recent ones), celebrity spotlight, and so much more! We got to see Jeremy Renner! He was so funny and handled awkward questions thrown at him very well! Gooo Hawkeye! We also saw Bonnie Wright (who played Ginny Weasley) before the security guards moved every one back. I also went a little crazy buying Disney pins at one booth. It was a fun experience! Maybe one day we could get tickets to the San Diego Comic Con! ![]() Our second Valentine's together! This year we decided to try to cook dinner at home, and just take it chill. :) We went out to buy all the ingredients, and i'm surprised the food turned out pretty well! The steak was a little salty, but we'll work on that hehe Kevin and I both surprised each other with the same picture! My picture was in a painted frame (can you believe he actually painted that?!) and his picture was in a puzzle! That puzzle was only 200 pieces, but we literally spent the whole night trying to build it. There were a few times where one of us wanted to give up, but we powered through it and motivated each other! All in all we had a very simple valentine's night, but it was still so much fun to just be able to spend it together :) We took a picture with the trophy! The line was pretty long, but we had time to waste haha
This was our second game together, and both games we went to so far were blowouts. Warriors were up by 20-30 points throughout the game, and the Lakers never caught up. Wished Kobe played better. Even a basketball newbie like me could tell that the Lakers had no chemistry and no good plays or defense. Oh well! 16-0! Before we went to the game Kevin finally got a Lou's sandwich! All the previous times Lou's was always closed, but he finally got that pastrami sandwich, and he loved it! Also we couldn't find his car for the longest time after we went back to Daly City and we were running all over the parking lot, but it was all good in the end, and we celebrated with some good ol Toyose kimchi fried rice and fried chicken wings.
Okay, we don't just randomly whip out a camera to take selfies ALL the time. We were waiting for our beignets at some restaurant on Pier 39 (across from Boudin's). My first time having beignets! It was pretty good, but maybe I was just hungry. Birthday dinner at The Caprice! There was a Groupon deal for this restaurant, and it was really worth it! The waiter was extremely nice, and the ambiance was quite romantic. The view would've been great in the afternoon, but at night everything was just dark. We saw people fishing outside though! We got Carpaccio Filet Mignon, and Kevin's reaction was priceless when he saw that it was raw meat! We both still tried it though, but this was probably a one time thing. Last year it was bone marrow and this year it was raw meat haha Aside from that we got lobster ravioli, fried calamari, and New York steak! For dessert Kevin got coffee, which tasted like alcohol, and he did not like it at all. We got a yummy pumpkin creme brulee too, which he did like :)
